What a marvelous few days we have had with Elder and Sister Pino.
We have been so honored to have them accompany us throughout our mission, and greet our missionaries.
Elder Pino has been so kind in his remarks to us as he has observed us teaching and leading discussions with our missionaries. We have traveled with he and his wife for many hours together in our car. We have visited and enjoyed each others company as we have shared about our families, our children and grandchildren, our life's work, and experiences. What a treasured memory. President and Sister Pino are from Venezuela and with President Clayton having served there during his first mission, they had much in common as they visited and connected together.
We have been very privileged to have him teach our missionaries. He has been a dynamic and strong teacher and leader. We have learned much.
Here are some pictures over the past few days.
We love these two!
Here we are in Colima with our Colima, Guzman, and Manzanillo zones
The next day, we drove to Tepic.
What a marvelous drive that was!
President Clayton and I will not soon
forget this experience!
Here we are with our Tepic, Santiago and Vallarta zones
Next, we traveled back to Guadalajara
and met with our Lomas, Union and
Independencia zones
73 missionaries in all!
What a group!
I love both of these pictures, and couldn't decide
which one to add..
A quick seat change to sit by and remember
sweet Sister Pino.
President Clayton and Elder Pino role playing.
President Pino's object lesson,
Where do we find ourselves in this picture?
Are we pushing or pulling the work along?
Are we sitting casually, or distracting others?
What is our goal moving forward?
Dinner together
And finally, our Mission Council
with Elder and Sister Pino
(why did that gust of wind catch only my hair??)
Sister Pino snapped this picture of me teaching
in mission council and texted it to me.
