Meeting in Cuahutemoc with Branch President Jose Covarrubias and his wife.
This is the small courtyard to their front door

This is an example of the beautiful leather work he does

The meeting area of their house of prayer

In the beautiful church building in San Blas, with Elder Allen and Elder Sosa, the Branch President President Artigas (in red)  and Brother Urvano, President Clayton, and our assistants.

Here are the cute seminary students and their faithful teacher in San Blas.
They all grabbed their scriptures to hold for the picture.

This is the sisters apartment that we went to check out to help them feel a bit more secure.
This is the front yard.

This is their tiny  kitchen.

Bless their hearts, this wall is full of their inspirational notes and calendar reminders.

They do not have a closet, so this table holds all of their clothes and personal items.

This is where they wash their clothes by hand and hang them to dry.

Sister Hernandez and Sister Gomez

with Sister Afu and Sister Smith waiting for the bus

on the bus with Sister Smith

I wish dad was in this picture, but he took it only of Elder Stanger and Elder Barrera the day he went on splits with them in front of their house

On the bus with Sister Newbold and Sister Marciano.  Do you see them talking with the lady next to them.  Sister Newbold pulled out a Proclamation to the Family pamphlet and just started a conversation.

They were so friendly and natural and unafraid.
I was so proud of them and to be associated with them

Right before the rain hit

outside their little house

us in the members house after the lesson

They sent me this picture of them taken the day before in a huge downpour.  They pulled out the garbage bags they had tucked away for just this occasion.

Traffic, road blocks, google maps not correct, here these three are, 6 minutes before the Manzanillo District Conference meeting.  They slipped on their suit coats only to discover that they didn't match their pants... no time to change.  We had a quick prayer on the sidewalk and they ran in.

Elder Price playing for the choir

Elder Fuimaono and Elder Valdez shared their last baptismal program with me.

at the office, it's busy busy with Elders there to update their visa's and others to visit with President

after the Independencia Stake Conference last weekend.  This sweet sister hugged and hugged and kissed and kissed me, with tears streaming down her face.  She was so tender.
She hand made her purple dress.
