Oh, the things we see here in Mexico

There are just not enough words to describe all the things we see here in Mexico.  Just take a look!

These four had a serious game of cards going.  I love their hats.

The hard labor we see everywhere

This truck drove in and around the streets slowly
with his wares spread out for all to see.

Bob at the Marriott in Vallarta

We spied a boat run aground

This broke our hearts.  In Vallarta, during
our zone conference,
on a swelteringly hot day we saw this poor
iguana with a leash tied around his neck
and also around his waist, and he was miserable.
We were wondering what we could do for him,
when a lady walked by and said she knew where
the animal shelter was.. she ran to bring them
and they came to rescue him and get that off him.

In Vallarta on the boardwalk

I love this picture of Bob on our Pday and the
view down this pretty street.

The Pirate ship setting sail.

So glad we caught this sweet load

The traffic in front of us in Arandas

You know, I always love the broom vendors.

Our new marine

We are sure proud of our Scott!  He has recently graduated from Marine Boot Camp.
He left for Boot Camp on 5-26-17.  We snapped this quick picture as we talked with
him over face time the morning he left.

His swearing in.

His grueling daily Matrix schedule.

As it turned out, on Mothers day, Eldon was given a speaking assignment
to speak at the MRCD and long story short, he spoke in Scott's branch.
It was a tender mercy and blessing for Scott to visit with and see family
right before he began his ending challenge, the Crucible.

Mother's Day picture sent to me

Scott with his Branch President.

Pictures taken before the crucible.

Scott's platoon 3253

After their crucible, they were treated
to a baseball game.

Boot Camp Graduation.
We are so thankful that these four were able
to go and be with Scott for his graduation.

At their Branch get together after graduation

Scott's good friend.

The Eagle the Globe and the Anchor pin
Scott received.

The morning Moto run that began family day.

After graduation, Scott had a 10 day leave
He spent some time in San Diego and then went to
Russ and Dulcie's in Utah.

Sunday morning ready for church.
