Matt and his 2 sons came for a visit the first weekend in June... Boy did we have fun.
We squeezed as much as we possibly could in that week.
We started by checking out some of the
lakes on base...this is 6 mile lake
We saw this black bear scampering away
right by where we were fishing
at another spot there on base
We stopped by several lakes to try our luck
just having a bite of lunch
Becoming friends with Kodiak
We had a great day on big Lake sailing on grandpa's sail boat

I loved watching these 2 boys catch these fish...
it didn't matter that they were so tiny... just catching
them late at night (it was midnight) on the way home was such an treat.

We saw this old moose on the side of the road on the way to the
airport that last day... he had such a wicked scar.. poor guy
