catching up

Before we left to go up to the cabin over Easter weekend, we colored eggs and hid a few for each other to find.  (that's right)  :) we mostly took the pictures to send to Erin... she is such a we have to do all traditions no skipping or cutting corners girl (I wonder where she get that from?)

Kodiak sporting his new red bandana.. he thinks he's stylin

dad sent me a pretty mothers day bouquet and had it delivered at my school... so sweet!

Breakfast in bed.. yum

Mother's Day... talking to Erin!!!!!
Such a highlight.  She was calm and relaxed and so kind to her companion down the hall
asking if she was connected and all set before she started talking to us.
Oh I love this girl.  she is doing so well and having so many life changing and life strengthening experiences.  She seemed happy and self confident and positive.  She looked so pretty with her peaches and cream complexion and she was herself.... easy to laugh and anxious to hear about us.
We talked about everything under the sun, she wanted to know more details about our plans as we retire. We talked about when she thought she would be finishing up her mission.  she already knows... November 26th. Boy, do I love this girl !!!

it was hard to say good bye... Oh I have missed her and am so proud of her.

Just a few other things.... out of order.

Dad getting his 30 year pin.  Dad looks so handsome here, I am so proud of him.

ok....the nerve....

he never gets up top of the couch.  I heard this noise... and came in and looked and he got up to where the sun was shining.  He's just trying to catch some rays.... good grief. :/
